Supporting data files for the research on Digital Connectivity, Government Effectiveness and Climate Vulnerability in Africa: Robust Level Associations, Fragile Temporal Identification

This replication package accompanies the manuscript “Digital Connectivity, Government Effectiveness and Climate Vulnerability in Africa: Robust Level Associations, Fragile Temporal Identification.” The study examines whether government effectiveness conditions the relationship between internet diffusion and climate vulnerability across 53 African countries over 2002–2024. The package contains the harmonised analytical dataset, row-level provenance information for source-backed internet observations used in sensitivity analyses, and Python code for reproducing the principal reported results. The primary analysis uses 1,183 official-source country-year observations, while the Tier-A and full-R92 samples are reported only as sensitivity analyses.
