Supporting Sustainable Food Systems in Zimbabwe: Aligning Policy Frameworks with Farmer-Led Innovation for Resilient, Inclusive Transformation

This Policy Brief presents a summary of findings from Supporting Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) in Zimbabwe: A Review of the Existing Policy Framework and Small-Scale Farmers’ Recommendations for Policy Action. The brief synthesises findings from the participatory review of Zimbabwe’s policy landscape, grounded in the lived experiences of small-scale farmers. It presents key challenges and actionable recommendations for national and international policymakers seeking to accelerate transitions toward sustainable, resilient and equitable food systems.The project has ethical approval (#049537).
