Our contribution consists in drawing up a report on the process of generalization of the teaching of Tamazight in Algeria. In effect, since its introduction to the school in 1995, the Ministry of National Education has initiated several policies for its generalization on both the vertical and horizontal levels. Our work proposes a quantitative and qualitative study of this policy. By using a numerical presentation of the number of teaching posts already on the labor market, and their illustration on geographical maps using the QGIS software, we highlight the policy of generalization of Tamazight teaching engaged in Algeria by spotlighting the dialects considered, and the territories covered by this teaching. To achieve this purpose, we rely on the statistics provided by the Ministry of National Education for the 2016-2017 school year.
