Download the three documents: 1 - The Education Framework 2 - The Principles 3 - The Core Competencies In early 2024, as part of a wider Dryland Futures Academy initiative, the Jameel Observatory for Food Security Early Action convened a workshop in Nairobi to formulate an ‘Education Framework’ to guide collaborative co-development and delivery of capacity development opportunities. The major outputs were this Education Framework as well as two associated documents: A set of seven Principles for education and capacity development for anticipatory action in the drylands of East Africa; and a set of core competencies.
