This dataset consists of microclimate related maps of tropical montane forests in East Africa under climate change, which includes environmental factors, mean macroclimate conditions, microclimate metrics, microclimate regimes, climate change rates, and interpolation index. The time periods include past (1984-1993), present (2014-2023), and future (2044-2053, under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5). The nine microclimate metrics are mean of diurnal mean temperature, mean of diurnal maximum temperature, mean of diurnal minimum temperature, mean of diurnal temperature range, annual maximum temperature, annual minimum temperature, annual temperature range, isothermality, and temperature seasonality. The elevation range of montane forests was limited as 800 ~ 3,500 m asl. The resolution of these maps is 30 m and all files are in format of GeoTIFF.
