The speaker explains while illustrating some of the tools used by the Okiek for eating, circumcision, drinking alcohol and honey among others. Patrick works within the Okiek community as a social worker and community mobilizer. In this project he also assisted in community mobilization, video recording, translating and annotating. Simon Konana Konini is a respected community elder who took who participated in many documentation sessions. He is the narrator of the story in the second session (okiek_Narratives002). In this project the actor is a consultant as well as a community mobilizer Jane Oduor is the Okiek language documentor. Francis Lesingo is very knowledgeable in Okiek language and culture. He introduced me (Jane Oduor)to the Okiek community in Nessuit.
