Transcriptomic Dataset of Porcine Macrophages Infected with African Swine Fever Virus at 6 and 16 h Post‑Infection

Alveolar macrophages were infected in triplicate with the African swine fever virus (ASFV) Ba71V strain. Cells were harvested at 6 and 16 hours post‑infection, corresponding to early and active stages of viral replication. Total RNA was extracted and used to generate strand‑specific RNA‑Seq libraries following poly(A) mRNA enrichment. Libraries were sequenced on an Illumina NextSeq 500 platform using 1 × 75 bp single‑end reads, yielding approximately 20–25 million pass‑filter reads per sample for downstream bioinformatics analysis.
