This article focuses on the writing of Véronique Tadjo and especially on her novels L’ombre d’Imana. Voyages jusqu’au bout du Rwanda and En compagnie des hommes, which offers a literary representation of two important crises in Africa, the Rwandan Genocide and the Ebola’s epidemic, and calls for the solidarity and the consciousness of our responsibility toward the future of the planet. By a transdisciplinary approach, we study the work of memory, the ethics and the «Planetary Consciousness» (Mbembe, 2023).
