This fieldwork provides a 500-item wordlist of the us-Saare language, generated through a combination of the standardised Ibadan combined Swadesh 100 and Ibadan 400 Wordlist. The wordlists are designed for rapid lexicostatistical and typological documentation of under-described Nigerian languages and basic vocabulary: pronouns, body parts, natural phenomena, numerals, and common verbs. The word list extends this to include flora, fauna, kinship, food, artefacts, verbs of motion and state, adjectives, and cultural terms. Together, the 500 items allow for preliminary phonological analysis, semantic domain coverage, and comparison with related languages. All items were elicited from native us-Sare speakers in Dukku using Yorùbá and English as metalanguages. Data were audio-recorded and transcribed in IPA. The list serves as a baseline resource for language documentation, classification, and future dictionary or grammar work on us-Sare. Participants include 4 fluent, adult native speakers of us-Sare Language. Speakers were selected based on monolingual competence and community recognition. Informed consent was obtained verbally from the village head and other participants. Speakers were compensated and credited as language consultants. Dukku Local Government of Kebbi State, Nigeria
