The Covid-19 pandemic started in the late 2019 and caused major disruptions in socio-economic, political, and academic spheres during 2020 and beyond. The pandemic has caused the closure and shift to virtual learning for many academic institutions. Though, this affected all categories of students, shifting them onto the virtual mode of learning during the pandemic, it seems to have favored postgraduate learning more. Now in 2021, many educational institutions are reopening for in-person learning, in additional to the virtual mode (blinded learning). There arise questions as to whether these postgraduate candidates feel connected in these virtual learning classes compared to face-to-face mode? and if the scale (Classroom Community Scale) could be appropriate for students in Ghana, where the dynamics of virtual learning may not be same as students of developed nations? This project conducts a Validity and Reliability Tests on Classroom Community Scale using data from Postgraduate studying in Ghana, and investigate their connectedness and learning experiences during virtual learning and regular face-to-face model learning.
