WATex, originally, means WATer 💧 Exploration toolbox using AI Learning Methods. So for short, concise, and more objective, it become a « Machine Learning Research Toolbox in Hydrogeophysic ». It is entirely written in Python programming language with supplemental materials in the Jupyter notebook. The main objective is, first, to bring a piece of solution in a wide program of  WATER4ALL, especially in Africa, and secondly to participate in Sustanaible Development Goa… achievement. It encompasses different geophysical methods from Electrical ( e.g. Electrical Resistivity Profiling, Vertical Electrical Sounding …) to Electromagnetic  ( e.g.« Controlled Source Audio-frequency Magnetotelluric… ) methods by targeting the field of water explorations. Later, it expects to implement the near-surface seismic (e.g., for cavities groundwater detection)  and the Induced Polarisation methods. Furthermore, it is also intended to include pure Hydrogeology methods with the aid of collaborators in that field. We expect to make WATex a useful tool entirely focused to the groundwater exploration research domain.
