These 'poems for suffering rural women' describe the situation of women in Senegal, in Africa, and the whole world. The aim of these poems is to sensitize the women and to give them the opportunity to bring their case to public awareness. In the book, the women show determination, faith, patience and courage in their struggle for a better life. Now they are ready to take up their future and solve their daily problems once and for all.
Ces poèmes de femmes rurales décrit la situation de la femme au Sénégal et partout dans le monde. Mais l'objectif est aussi de leur montrer la voie à suivre et leur donner l'opportunité de se faire entendre. Les femmes affichent toute leur détermination, leur foi, leur patience et leur courage, dans la lutte pour l'amélioration de leurs conditions de vie. Elles sont désormais prêtes à prendre en main leur avenir et regler de manière définitive les problèmes quotidiens qu'elles rencontrent.
