This dataset contains the responses from a household survey of 795 farmers in the Woredas of Basona Worena and Doyogena (Ethiopia). Interviewees were from villages which had and had not benefited from the CCAFS climate-smart village program, intended for comparison purposes.
The survey was conducted using the Rural Household Multi-Indicator Survey (RHoMIS) tool, which has been documented elsewhere (see related publications below). Most questions were asked relating to the previous 12 months, and pitched at the farm-household level.
The topics covered in the survey were:
- Household demographics
- Farm land area and tenure
- Crop production, management, and use
- Livestock production, management, and use
- Off-farm incomes
- Gendered decision-making control over incomes and food produced
- Food security, including FIES and HDDS indicators.
