This is a song (by four singers) on a child crying to be
educated. One singer goes on to explain how the only education that was their before was that of hunting in the forest and how the forest is depleted. Jane Oduor is the Okiek language documentor. Patrick works within the Okiek community as a social worker and community mobilizer. In this project he also assisted in community mobilization, video recording, translating and annotating. Duncan is waiting to go to college. He completed secondary school education.
