A Comprehensive Analysis of the Current Strategy for Developing Live Attenuated Vaccines Against African Swine Fever: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

In this study, a random-effects meta-analysis will be conducted to evaluate the protective capabilities of the ASF LAV candidates. The relative risks of mortality, fever, and ASF-associated clinical signs in the vaccinated pigs will be analyzed to inform future commercial ASF vaccine development. Additionally, the risk of adverse effects following vaccination will be estimated to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the overall effectiveness and acceptability of ASF LAVs in protecting domestic pigs against ASF.
