Providing data on topics such as riddles, Ananse stories and proverbs that are not related to everyday language is a very difficult task for most Nkami speakers including adults. The recording sought to find out about the oratory skills of two of the most competent young Nkami speakers, Emmanuel Amoako (Yaw) and Wisdom Awuah, through proverbs-telling. The elan file contains (raw) transcription of Nkami's recording and Akan translation. It has not been translated into English yet.
