"Predigt in einem heidnischen Kraal" (''A sermon in a heathen kraal"). Fifteen people are sitting or standing in front of a round hut. Five of them are sitting in a line, wearing indigenous clothing and headpieces. Each of them is holding a stick. Behind them, two men are leaning on the house wall, wearing jackets, trousers and hats. Another man is sitting on the stairs of the house, on the left side two children are sitting. In front of the five people children and other people are sitting. Two of them are women, who are wearing dark dresses and headpieces. Their arms and shoulders are covered by blankets. A man (the preacher) is facing them, wearing a suit and holding a book in his hands.
