The report will include an overview of global climate finance flows as well as the policy frameworks, mechanisms, and instruments currently in place at the continental and global levels. It also includes a systematic, in-depth analysis of four African countries – Benin, Mali, Rwanda and Zimbabwe - at the forefront of mobilizing climate adaptation finance for food systems transformation and resilience-building activities with a focus on the policy and institutional innovations that have contributed to such progress. The report will include analyses of global climate finance flows on the continent as well as policy frameworks, institutions, and instruments currently in place at both the continental and global levels. It also includes lessons from four African countries at the forefront of mobilizing climate adaptation finance for food systems transformation interventions and resilience-building activities.
