African biodiversity loss overview - data and scripts

Data and scripts used in an overview of African biodiversity loss (link to come). Mainly map data, but also R scripts, and instructions on how to draw the maps. The instructions are somewhat over-detailed, and will likely not be relevant for very many years, but could be useful for anyone just getting started in mapping biodiversity loss data.
