African Liberty Camp 2026 Mixed-Methods Evaluation

This mixed-methods study integrates quantitative participant survey data with qualitative insights from organizers and speakers to evaluate Africa Liberty Camp 2026. Drawing on feedback from 23 of 64 participants and five key-informant interviews, it examines knowledge gains, perceived influence, residual commitment, and the organizational conditions that shape outcomes. The integrated findings show that intensive liberty camp events can generate substantial short-term cognitive and motivational effects among motivated participants, while remaining constrained by coordination, resources, selection, and cultural factors. The paper formulates practical design principles and completes the Africa Liberty Camp 2026 Impact Trilogy. Conducted by Action for Development Initiative (AFODI), it contributes open-access evidence on the potential and limits of liberty-oriented education in Africa.
