This dataset provides monthly wildfire carbon emissions and terrestrial net ecosystem exchange (NEE) over Africa for the period 2015–2016. It includes both prior and posterior fluxes from two inversion experiments: TIN1 and TIN2. In TIN1, prior wildfire emissions are based on the GFED4s inventory, while TIN2 uses GFAS as the prior. The posterior estimates were obtained through a joint inversion framework assimilating satellite XCO₂ observations from OCO-2 using the Global Carbon Assimilation System version 2 (GCASv2).
