After Women’s Rights: Norms and Attitudes in Morocco

This pre-analysis plan outlines the design, hypotheses, and primary planned analyses of a nationally representative telephone survey of 1,300 adult Moroccans. The survey will gather descriptive evidence of Moroccans’ perceived social norms around gender issues, and will test hypotheses about relationships how state promotion of women’s rights and experiences with governance interact to shape perceived norms and political attitudes.
