The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) operates as a provident fund under the mandate of the Ugandan Government, established by the National Social Security Fund Act, Cap 222, as amended. This Fund includes coverage for all private sector employees, regardless of the size of their business or the number of workers. Additionally, it accepts voluntary contributions from self-employed individuals and supplemental contributions beyond the mandatory ones. Oversight of the Fund is shared by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. Moreover, the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA) regulates the Fund, in accordance with the URBRA Act enacted in 2011.The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has revolutionized project management practices across various industries. This dissertation investigates the impact of AI on project management within the supply chain domain, focusing on NSSF-Uganda as a case study. Through a critical review of existing literature, analysis of research findings, and evaluation of implications, this study provides insights into how AI-powered project management can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and overall project outcomes.
