This preprint investigates the readiness of primary school teachers in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning. The study examines teachers’ AI awareness, perceived usefulness, confidence, access to technology, and barriers to AI adoption in primary education. The findings aim to contribute to the understanding of AI integration in Nigerian schools and provide insights for policymakers, school administrators, and teacher professional development initiatives.
