Algerian Business Administration Open Data (2026): CNRC and ANAE Activity Nomenclatures, Journal Officiel Index 1962-2026, and Administrative Geography

A consolidated, machine-readable reference set covering company registration, self-employment, official legal publication and administrative geography in Algeria. Compiled and published by UpGrowth, Algiers, and released under CC BY 4.0. Contents: the CNRC commercial activity nomenclature (2,134 codes in French, English and Arabic, with supervising authority and governing legal texts); the ANAE auto-entrepreneur activity list (1,491 activities); an index of the Journal Officiel de la Republique Algerienne from 1962 to 2026 (5,288 issues, with the location of each official PDF on joradp.dz for the French and Arabic editions, every link individually verified against the source server); a reference-to-issue reverse index covering 2002 to 2026 (2,017 issues indexed, zero failures); the 58 wilayas with company-formation contact points; and the customs tariff sections and chapters. Algeria's business administration reference data is published across several government portals in formats that are difficult to query: scanned PDFs, paginated HTML portlets and per-record detail pages. No consolidated machine-readable version of these tables was previously available for reuse. This deposit assembles them into flat, documented, UTF-8 files with stable identifiers. Notes and limitations: English labels are UpGrowth translations provided for search and comparison only and carry no official status. Arabic labels are reproduced as published by the source authorities. Journal Officiel issues before 2002 are image scans at the source and are not full-text indexable, so they appear in the archive index but not in the reference index. The Journal Officiel PDFs themselves are not redistributed here; this deposit indexes their locations on joradp.dz.
