Artificial Intelligence Accessibility and Human Resource Management Practices ofCommercial Banks in Rivers StateUBONG, Ini Kingsley; Jude Nwoka Ph.D; Alwell Azubuike Onunwor Ph.D.Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.AbstractThis study examined how AI tool accessibility affects recruiting, selection, and training incommercial banks in Rivers State, Nigeria. A selective sample of 20 senior HR professionals, line managers, and top management staff from multiple state commercial banks completed astructured questionnaire to collect primary data using a quantitative correlational approach. Dataanalysis used Spearman rank-order correlation. Access to artificial intelligence positivelycorrelated with recruiting, selection, and training efficacy. More accessible and user-friendlyAI-enabled HR tools improved talent acquisition and development speed, accuracy, and fairness. These findings imply that improved artificial intelligence accessibility can address longstandinghuman resource management inefficiencies in the Nigerian banking sector, notwithstandinginfrastructural and digital literacy issues. This study proposes investing in user-friendly AI apps, training workers on them, and using hybrid approaches to recruiting, selection, and training thatintegrate technology and human features. The results support the Resource-Based View byshowing that accessible artificial intelligence can boost human resource management to gain acompetitive edge.
