Artificial Intelligence Across Engineering Disciplines
Abstract
This narrative review examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, with particular attention to healthcare systems in Botswana. It compares current applications, workforce skills, implementation barriers and governance risks, arguing for gradual, secure, locally validated adoption supported by reliable infrastructure and accountable human oversight.
