This project is a systematic review examining the use of artificial intelligence for customer personalization in the African banking sector. The study aims to synthesize existing literature on AI applications such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and chatbots in personalized banking services, and to assess their impacts on customer experience and bank performance. The review will follow PRISMA-P guidelines, using structured database searches and thematic synthesis. Expected outcomes include identification of key trends, research gaps, and practical implications for banks and policymakers, contributing to knowledge on AI-driven digital transformation in African financial services.
