The Church is saddled with the task of reaching out to the world with the Gospel information. This important assignment is encapsulated in what is known as The Great commission. The challenges of accessing and getting information across the globe is currently being addressed through innovative technological breakthrough of diverse magnitude and currently through the advent of AI (Artificial Intelligence). Most churches in Nigeria are just waking up to this mode of technology even as some have their lethargy about its usage in advancing the evangelical activities due to some socio-economic, religious, ethical and cultural dispositions.
This study therefore attempts to examine the import of this new level of technology in Church administration as in streamlining evangelistic activities in Nigeria and how its embrace can help the administrative operations of the Church to actualize evangelical activities with improved outcomes leveraging on AI. The study takes advantage of the Theory of computational learning theory. This study adopts it because it is the mathematical framework for quantifying learning tasks and algorithms pertinent in the programming of Artificial Intelligence. There is no evil in integrating the services of AI in church missionary work. It will only facilitate evangelical expertise. Everything created by God wields their various weaknesses resulting or originating from the created order, not to mention Artificial intelligence that is Robotics and man’s brain child. Care should be taken that the gospel message should not be bereft of human cum spiritual touch in the process of incorporating AI in missionary strides.
