ASPECTS ON MANUSCRIPTS, CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS IN MAZOUNA

This article proposes an overview of the most prominent cultural aspects in Mazouna which are indicative of strong ties with the Berber language. Some sociolinguistic traits are presented to show that Mazouna gathers considerable local arabo-berber resources that need to be compiled, investigated, digitalized and valorized as part of Algeria’s immaterial cultural patrimony.
