This study assessed the influence of lifelong learning models on reskilling outcomes among workers displaced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Plateau State, Nigeria. The increasing adoption of AI technologies across sectors has transformed workplace operations, resulting in the displacement of workers and creating an urgent need for workforce reskilling. The study adopted a correlational survey research design. The population comprised workers whose job roles had been affected by AI and related digital technologies in selected sectors of the economy in Cross River State. A sample of 300 respondents was selected using a multi-stage sampling procedure involving purposive, stratified, and simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire titled Lifelong Learning Models and Reskilling Outcomes Questionnaire (LLMROQ). The instrument was validated by experts, while its reliability was established using Cronbach's Alpha. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Simple Linear Regression at the 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between lifelong learning models and reskilling outcomes among workers displaced by AI (R = 0.684, p < 0.05) in Plateau State. The study further found that lifelong learning models significantly predicted reskilling outcomes, accounting for 46.8% of the variance in workers' reskilling outcomes (R² = 0.468, p < 0.05) in Plateau State. The study concluded that lifelong learning models play a significant role in enhancing workers' adaptability, employability, and acquisition of new competencies in an AI-driven labour market. It was recommended that governments, employers, and educational institutions strengthen lifelong learning opportunities and reskilling initiatives to support workforce adaptation to technological change.
