The construction sector continues to experience operational risk and project uncertainties capable of influencing project delivery performance within developing economies such as Nigeria. This study assessed digital technology adopted for construction risk management in Abuja. The study identified major construction risks affecting construction project delivery, examined digital technologies adopted for construction risk management, assessed factors affecting digital technology adoption and evaluated the impact of digital technologies adoption on construction risk mitigation practices. Quantitative research method was utilized, while structured questionnaires were administered to quantity surveyors, civil engineers, builders and architects. Using Yamane’s formular, a sample size of 388 respondents was obtained from a population of 12,687 construction professionals in Abuja, out of which 348 questionnaires were valid for analysis. Data collected were analyzed using correlation, regression and mean item score with SPSS version 20 software. Findings revealed that safety hazards (4.24), project delays (4.27) and cost overruns (4.30) were the major construction risk identified, while predictive analytics tools (3.79) and building information modelling (3.99) were the most adopted digital technologies. (R2 = 0.998) for regression analysis and (r = 0.974) for correlation analysis confirmed the significant impact of digital technology adoption on construction risk mitigation. The study recommended institutional support, technical training and increased investment in digital infrastructure to strengthen digital technologies adoption and enhance construction risk management performance within Nigeria construction Industry.
