The Atlas of Scorpions and Snakes of Sudan is a comprehensive scientific reference work that documents the diversity, distribution, and medical importance of venomous and non-venomous snakes and scorpions across Sudan. It brings together field observations, taxonomic data, and high-quality visual documentation to provide an authoritative guide in Arabic for researchers, healthcare professionals, wildlife specialists and citizens at large. The atlas maps species distributions across different ecological zones of Sudan, helping to clarify patterns of habitat use and regional biodiversity.A key feature of the book is its focus on medically significant species, particularly scorpions and snakes responsible for envenomation incidents. It includes information on identification, behavior, ecology, and clinical relevance, as well as guidance on prevention and first aid.Beyond its scientific value, the atlas also serves as an important educational and public health resource, supporting improved awareness, diagnosis, and management of envenomation cases in Sudan and similar environments. The book has been printed and distributed through the generous support of the Swiss TPH Support Group.  and is a the result of collaboration between the author, the Sudanese National Academy of Sciences (SNAS), the STEM Sudan Initiative, and the Khartoum Media Center.
