This research is motivated by the low motivation and learning outcomes of students, which are caused by a lack of enthusiasm among students in participating in the learning process and minimal variation in the learning media used by teachers. One of the efforts that can be made to address these issues is by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality-based learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA approach, analyzing 15 articles published from 2022 to 2026 to evaluate the effectiveness of Augmented Reality learning media in enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes. The analysis results indicate that Augmented Reality-based learning media consistently improves motivation and learning outcomes, particularly for material that is difficult to visualize conventionally. Based on these analysis results, this study concludes that Augmented Reality has significant potential in supporting modern learning, although its implementation requires adequate infrastructure and technological readiness. These findings are expected to encourage broader and more effective application of Augmented Reality-based learning media in the field of education.
