<b>Dataset supporting "The scale at which satellite poverty maps stop informing targeting decisions: a near-census validation of 1,032 georeferenced households in northern Ghana"</b>

This repository contains the data and code supporting the manuscript "The scale at which satellite poverty maps stop informing targeting decisions: a near-census validation of 1,032 georeferenced households in northern Ghana." The dataset comprises a near-census household survey of 1,032 households (975 unique georeferenced locations after quality control) conducted across eleven communities in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, Upper West Region, Ghana. It includes household deprivation indicators, extracted earth-observation covariates, modelling datasets, and reproducible analysis code used to generate all tables, figures, and statistical results reported in the manuscript.To protect participant confidentiality, the repository does not include undisplaced household coordinates. Instead, released spatial data consist of displaced coordinates together with extracted environmental covariates and an anonymized eight-nearest-neighbour adjacency list sufficient to reproduce the spatial analyses without revealing household locations.The repository includes:cleaned household survey data;extracted earth-observation covariates;metadata and variable descriptions;analysis scripts;processed datasets used in modelling;supplementary files required to reproduce the published results.These materials are released to promote transparency, reproducibility, and reuse in research on satellite-based poverty mapping, spatial validation, and evidence-based targeting of social assistance.
