A scoping review to map existing evidence on barriers to early diagnosis of breast cancer among Black African women. The aim is to identify what is known about the barriers to early diagnosis of breast cancer among Black African women and to explore the types of barriers (e.g. personal, cultural, structural, systemic) reported. This review will serve as a foundation for developing culturally sensitive, age-appropriate strategies to promote timely diagnosis of breast cancer among Black African women.
