Baseline survey was conducted in Haleku and Dodicha kebeles in Adamitulu woreda, Oromia region, Ethiopia during December 2014. The survey covered 301 households selected randomly from the two kebeles. The collected data includes details about the HH composition, Assets (Land, Livestock & water resource), agricultural production constraints and use of technologies; crop production and income; constraints and opportunities in marketing of agricultural products; access to market and extension information and services; and household income and food security. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire developed by ICRISAT with the assistance form 10 enumerators drawn from Adamitullu Research Center, Bureau of Agriculture and IDE. The enumerators were trained and the survey questionnaire was tested before doing the final survey. Adequate attention was paid to include as many women headed house holds as possible and the data was analysed for the gender specific differences.
