The day after the bees were captured, Mr At’inafu and several others come to the compound of Mr Tariku to watch the bees. Tariku has moved the stick to the back of the compound and had made a shade for them. Almost all of the working bees have gone and the people wonder if the queen bee is still there, still alive. They comment that the working bees have left to “tell” the people that they should quickly make a “home” (bee-hive) for them. That the bees are “angry” that they are made to wait this long since they settled in this place. Mr Tariku tells them that he does not have a bee-have ready for them but it will come soon. Again, they continue discussion about various characteristics of bees. The conversation involves a lot of code-switching between Zargulla and Amharic. The recoding was done by Azeb Amha using Panasonic HC-W580 video camera
