Bias-corrected and downscaled ERA5-Land 2-m air temperature dataset for Ethiopia for the period 1981-2010

The dataset was derived by downscaling and debiasing the ERA5-Land 2 m air temperature with spatially interpolated first and second-order statistics of ground station observations. The spatial interpolation of the observed temperature statistics was based on an inverse generalized distance weighing approach and the bias correction was made using a quantile mapping technique.
