Why This Call? And Why Collaboration Now?
I write to you as an independent researcher from Algeria, not to present a closed theory, but to open a vast intellectual doorway. We are living through a historical moment where technology intersects with existence, biology with ethics, and simulation with consciousness. No single discipline can bear this epistemic and ethical weight alone. Therefore, this document is not a research paper to be concluded, but a living invitation to collaborate.
Why collaboration? Because the challenges posed by the age of artificial intelligence, identity crises, and the interweaving of human consciousness with automated systems transcend the boundaries of narrow specializations. We need a shared language, a unified framework, and an open space where the philosopher meets the neuroscientist, the engineer meets the educator, the theologian meets the legal scholar, and the social scientist meets the psychologist.
Why this rule now? Because we need a model that clearly distinguishes between what is functional and computable (B), and what is sovereign and irreducible (F), and how conscious interaction between them generates sustainable meaning (Nf). This model is not a rigid
measurement equation, but rather an interpretive compass and a common ground for building applied and
critical research collaborations that protect human dignity in the age of the machine.
Why Is the Rule B + F = Nf the Foundation?
B represents Functional Processing: the body, instinct, computation, procedural memory, artificial intelligence. This level is shared among humans, animals, and machines, with the latter excelling in unprecedented speed and precision.
F represents Internal Sovereignty: ethical consciousness, conscience, the right of veto, foundational imagination, the capacity to question and reject what is functional in favor of what is valuable. This level is unique to humans alone, and it is the source of ethical responsibility and genuine innovation.
Nf represents Narrative Impact: the name, writing, memory, meaning charged with value that endures after the body's dissolution or the cessation of processing. It is what we leave behind in history, in the consciousness of others, and in our shared identity.
The rule B + F = Nf does not measure consciousness by material metrics, but describes it as a dynamic relationship, a creative tension, and an ongoing responsibility. It invites us to shift from the question How do we compete with the machine? to the question How
do we cultivate in humans what the machine does not possess?
Why Does This Collaboration Encompass All These Disciplines?
This call is explicitly and specifically addressed to researchers and practitioners in the following fields, because each holds a necessary perspective for completing the picture:
To the Neuroscientist and Cognitive Neurologist:
The model offers an interpretive framework for decoupling the functional linkage between sensory-motor networks (B) and networks of meaning and self-reflection (F), as observed in conditions such as sleep paralysis, sleep-related eating disorder, and distracted driving. Evidence for general intelligence is also present in my research Human Imagination and Animal Imagination. We invite you to link these clinical phenomena to the concept of internal sovereignty as a higher regulatory layer, and to propose qualitative research protocols for exploring how the ethical right of veto manifests in neural pathways without reducing it merely to electrical signals.
To the Philosopher and Ontologist:
The model presents two existential equations: B + F = Nf and N + N = A. The first describes the birth of meaning from the interaction of function with sovereignty; the second describes the birth of a new reality from the
interaction of two sovereign consciousnesses. We invite you to discuss this formulation in light of the heritage of Descartes, Kant, Husserl, and Heidegger, and in light of
Islamic, Christian, and Jewish philosophies that connect
the divine breath and the self-reproaching soul as roots of F.
To the Educator and Curriculum Developer:
Current education tests memorization and retrieval (B) a domain in which machines excel. We invite you to design curricula and assessments that measure deep understanding, the posing of new questions, ethical judgment, and meaning-making (F). This is not a rejection of technology, but a transformation of it from competitor to telescope, expanding our sovereign capacities.
To Researchers in Religious Studies and Comparative Theology:
The model unites religions in a single letter: F. In Islam: And I breathed into him of My Spirit (Quran 15:29). In Christianity: the Image of God in humanity. In Judaism: the divine imprint. In Eastern traditions: conscience and pure awareness. We invite you to use this framework to build a scientific-spiritual dialogue that acknowledges ritual differences while affirming existential unity in ethical sovereignty.
To the Anthropologist and Sociologist:
The model distinguishes between animal conflict (B only) as biological efficiency, and human conflict (B + F) as a
struggle of values and narratives. We invite you to analyze how internal sovereignty is co-opted to serve instincts or ideologies, and how societies can reactivate F
as an ethical counterbalance in an age of conflicts and digital migration.
To the Physicist, Mathematician, and Theoretical Programmer:
The model has been formulated topologically and algebraically in collaborative research (such as Bouzid Tassan Topos, the MF Model, and Sovereignty Algebra). We invite you to develop these formulations mathematically, not as a quantitative measurement of consciousness, but as a boundary-defining geometry that determines where automatic function ends and human responsibility begins, and how systems can be designed to respect the human right of veto as a structural condition rather than a mere interface option.
To Specialists in AI Ethics and Cybersecurity:
The model explains the success of social engineering as targeting the disabling of F while activating B alone. We invite you to design protocols for Sovereign Slowing, Reverse Questioning, and Permanent Human Exit, transforming the machine from a tool of polarization or deception into a vigilant partner that preserves cognitive and ethical coherence.
To the Legal Scholar, Judge, and Policy
Maker:
The model provides a new philosophical foundation for
criminal responsibility and legal capacity. Neither animal, nor child, nor one who has lost internal sovereignty is held
accountable, because they lack a complete F. We invite you to reformulate standards of accountability in the digital age, protect identity from automated substitution, and ensure that final ethical decisions remain in human hands.
To the Linguist and Cultural Translator:
Language is not merely a tool of communication (B), but a vessel for identity and sovereignty (F). We invite you to develop translation theories that preserve the existential essence of texts, protect languages from algorithmic reduction, and study how meaning (Nf) is lost when words are severed from their sovereign context.
To the Physician and Practitioner in Complementary Medicine and Mental Health:
The model distinguishes between alleviating the pain of a condition (B) and healing the condition through activating certainty and conscience (F). We invite you to integrate this understanding into therapeutic protocols, and to recognize the placebo effect not as deception, but as evidence of F's capacity to reprogram pathways of self-healing
