The study investigated the effect of business process innovation on the market share of selected micro enterprises in Nigeria. The specific objective focused on assessing how business process re-engineering influences market share growth among these enterprises. A descriptive survey research design was adopted to collect relevant data directly from micro enterprise operators. The study population included over 41 million micro enterprises in Nigeria, from which a sample size of 400 was determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and linear regression to test the hypotheses. The finding revealed that business process re-engineering has a positive and significant effect on the market share of micro enterprises in Nigeria (β = 0.970, p = 0.000).In conclusion, businesses that consciously redesign their activities are likely to build better reputations, retain more customers, and extend their reach beyond their immediate communities. The study recommended that owners and managers of micro enterprises should regularly evaluate and redesign their internal processes to eliminate inefficiencies and improve service delivery. This includes adopting simple technologies, reorganizing workflows, and reducing unnecessary steps in daily operations.
