The study explored barriers to the adoption and use of digital information resources by postgraduate engineering students in federal university libraries in Nigeria. Utilizing a cross-sectional survey design, the research sampled 306 postgraduate engineering students from a population of 1,695 across 12 federal universities, employing a multistage sampling technique. Data collected via structured questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings revealed that inadequate infrastructure (mean = 3.10) and lack of awareness (mean = 3.076) were significant challenges faced by students. The study recommends that the government prioritize funding and policy supervision to enhance academic library functionality, while librarians should conduct regular user education to improve awareness and utilization of digital resources.
