Title: Chivanbwe/Chivabwe Script – Sound-Based Writing System for African Languages (Preferably and formally called Chivabwe)    Purpose: A sound-based writing system intended for African languages, especially those related to or similar to Shona and Kalanga.   Usage: This script is free for all public use, similar to how Latin, Hangul, and other open scripts are used. It may not be claimed by others as their original invention.   Status: This is not the complete version of the writing system. The version published here includes the base alphabet and its Latin equivalents.   Future Additions: Additional parts to be posted, such as:   Chichabwe – advanced sound-based combination characters   Chinobwe – kanji-like symbols representing full words or phrases will be developed and licensed separately under the same principles of free, open usage.     Creator:Duncan Junior Kutya(Madlambudzi)  Created in:Zimbabwe and South Africa Year of Origin:2025   > “Note: While licensed as 2024, this script actually fully developed in 2025.”   Usage Notice for the Chivabwe Script   I Duncan Junior Kutya (Madlambudzi) am the original creator of the Chivabwe writing system. This script is free for everyone to use, write with, teach, share, and publish — in the same way the Latin, Greek, Korean, or Chinese scripts are used. You do not need my permission to use it, and you will never face any restrictions or legal consequences for using it.   Attribution to me as the creator is welcome but not required. What is important is that nobody else may claim to have created Chivabwe. The authorship and origin of this writing system remain with me, and that fact cannot be transferred or taken away.   By using Chivabwe, you are free to:   Write and publish in it without permission.   Teach it in schools, universities, or communities.   Share examples online or in print.     This ensures Chivabwe is open and usable by everyone, while still protecting its true origin.
