Cleaned VHF radio-telemetry detections of fish in the Mara River, Kenya (2023-2026)

Cleaned VHF radio-telemetry fish detections from four fixed receiving stations on the Mara River, Kenya (Serian, Little Gov, Serena Pumphouse, NMB/Purungat Bridge), July 2023 to May 2026. Coded Lotek transmitters (codeset Lotek5, 149.36 MHz, 30 sburst) were implanted in fish of four species (Labeo victorianus, Labeobarbus altianalis, Bagrus docmak, Clarias gariepinus). Detections were screened for false positives by de-duplicating overlapping field downloads, retaining only deployed tag codes (removing the receiver noise code 999), applying a signal-strength floor, and requiring at least two detections within a burst-scaled time window. The archive contains the validated detection table, a per-visit summary, the tag-to-fish metadata, the tagging log, and a record of detections removed at each cleaning step.
