This scoping review aims to systematically review and synthesize existing evidence on how adverse weather events influence transmission of STH infections, with a particular focus on tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and South America. This is due to the warm temperatures, high humidity and seasonal rainfall common in these areas which create ideal conditions for the development of helminth eggs and larvae in the soil.
