Code for "Coral bleaching reduces child growth through nutritional pathways"

This repository contains the Python and Stata code used for data preparation, coral bleaching prediction for East Africa based on satellite data, data integration, statistical analysis, and figure generation. The workflow combines satellite-derived environmental data, coral reef observations, and household survey data to examine the effects of coral bleaching on child growth outcomes and household consumption. The package includes all custom code required to reproduce the analyses reported in the manuscript. Due to licensing and data-use restrictions, some underlying datasets (e.g., DHS, LSMS, Google Earth Engine products, and other third-party data sources) are not redistributed. Detailed instructions for obtaining these data and reproducing the workflow are provided in the accompanying documentation as well as the manuscript.
