This research involves compositional analysis of seven aquatic invasive plants ((Arthropteris orientalis, Ceratophyllum demersum, Cyperus papyrus, Nymphaea odorata, Pistia stratiotes, Polygonum lanigerum, and Typha domingensis) harvested from a dam in Ghana. The analysis involved determination of their structural compositions (cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin) using the Van Soest method and their proximate and ultimate composition using standard methods.
