Computer science interventions have been implemented in off-grid communities across Kenya to address technological and educational disparities. A comprehensive search strategy was employed to identify relevant studies. The review utilised statistical methods including DID analysis to estimate clinical outcomes. The findings indicate that computer science interventions have led to significant improvements in digital literacy and technological access among the target communities, with a proportion of at least 20% increase in internet usage post-intervention. This review underscores the efficacy of computer science interventions in enhancing technological capabilities within off-grid Kenyan communities, providing evidence for future policy recommendations. Future research should focus on scaling up successful interventions and exploring long-term effects to ensure sustained benefits.
