Crop Budgets for Maize Production Costs and Returns: Zambia, 2010/11 to 2013/14

This report presents the analysis of maize production costs and returns for Zambia, with a special focus on improved types of maize relevant to the CRM program, based on the 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, and 2013-14 Zambia Crop Forecast Survey (CFS) data sets. Tables display gross margins (excluding and including the cost of land), returns to labor and land, and returns to labor only. Results are disaggregated by year, by province, and by seed variety.
