CTLGH BMGF poultry sequence data

The datasets consist of whole genome sequence data in fastq format from over 600 African chicken samples. Sequencing was performed on an Ilumina HiSeq X10 platform in paired end mode. The Centre for Tropical Livestock Genetics and Health (CTLGH) poultry programme has generated whole-genome sequence data from hundreds of chicken samples from Africa, with the goal of investigating genetic diversity, the genetic basis of tropical adaptations, and selection signatures associated with production and performance traits.
